Return Trip - First Day Drive to Las Vegas ...
Before we left the Anaheim / Disneyland area, we went to
Huntington Beach for a quick look. The area was getting
ready for the US Open Surfing Competition in a few days.
About a 4 hour drive to Las Vegas...
We stayed 2 nights at the Stratosphere ...
The tower top thrill rides - just a blur at night.
Inside a shopping mall -- Las Vegas style ...
The Bellagio ... ... outside ...
... and inside ...
Next door is ...
Las Vegas - it was very hot in July when we were there (44oC).
We avoided being outside for very long, but you don't need to be
outside.
